Marshall County anglers to compete in KHSAA Region 1 Bass Fishing Tournament

to Area high school anglers will fish in the KHSAA Region 1 Bass Fishing Tournament out of Kuttawa Harbor Marina on Lake Barkley on Friday, May 3. The tournament was originally scheduled for this Saturday, April 27, but postponed due to an extended forecast showing dangerously high winds. Take-off on May 3 will be at 6:30 a.m. with weigh-in beginning at 2:30.

Representing Marshall County at regionals are Drake Fooshee, Carson Lovett, Maxon Mitchell, Hayden Gray, Steven Wilhelm, Tucker Travis, Ty Redden, Clayton Wyatt, Zach Henly, Kasen Lewzader, Blake Powell, Jaxon Jones and Hadlee Frizzell.

In recent tournaments, Marshall County teams made six appearances in top 20 results. On March 3 in the Dave Stewart SAF Tournament out of Kentucky Dam Marina, three teams finished in the top 20.
