1. Africatown is planning to become a tourism spot in 2022, but the small community north of downtown Mobile is also in need of revitalization. The Africatown Redevelopment Corporation met for the first time on Thursday and members are focused ‘solely on the total revitalization’ of the community founded by slaves. 2. A Mobile man has finally left the hospital after more than two months fighting COVD-19. This father of three struggled for 73 days against the Delta variant.
