Huntsville man wins 2021 DAV Hooked on Lake Dardanelle Big Bass Tournament | Life in the Valley

The 2021 Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Hooked on Lake Dardanelle Big Bass Tournament was held over the weekend, Saturday, September 25 and Sunday, September 26th at Lake Dardanelle State Park. This was the 4th year for the bass fishing tournament and turnout was better than ever. The tournament is held annually during the last weekend in September.

Organizers state that the tournament began in 2018 and during the inaugural event, 48 boats registered and participated. In 2019, the number of participants grew to 63 boats and last year, 94 boats registered.

This year, participation in the tournament increased again with 107 boats registering and the tournament had the overwhelming support of 91 sponsors.  Organizers stated that they are very grateful for the tremendous support.
