GROVE, Okla. (April 5, 2024) – Grand Lake is ready for another major bass-fishing tournament, next week. The Major League Fishing (MLF) Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats is set to return to Grove, Oklahoma, next week, April 11-13, for the second event of the 2024 Plains division – the Toyota Series Presented by Phoenix Boats at Grand Lake.
The three-day competition, hosted by the City of Grove, will feature a roster of the region’s best bass-fishing pros and Strike King co-anglers competing for a top prize of up to $100,000 in the pro division and a new Phoenix 518 Pro boat with a 115-horsepower outboard motor plus $5,000 in the co-angler division.
According to recent local fishing reports, anglers fishing in this event can expect a very competitive tournament. Bass are being caught in all three phases of the spawn, so anglers will be able to fish to their strengths. Expect forward-facing sonar to play a role in this event.
