NATCHITOCHES – Two graduating seniors from Shreveport’s Captain Shreve High School committed to join the Northwestern State University’s Fishing Team this fall.  Stone Smith and Clayton Page, both award-winning anglers, will attend NSU in on scholarship as part of the university’s competitive bass fishing team.

Smith will pursue a degree in criminal justice while Page pursue a degree in business.

Smith and Page already have ties to Northwestern.  Smith’s father David Smith lettered in football and Page’s grandmother is a graduate of NSU’s nursing program.
