Lincoln County Republicans meeting | Wiscasset Newspaper

Lincoln County Republicans will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 28 at the Boothbay American Legion Hall, 25 Industrial Road. The doors open at 6 p.m. The social and refreshment time will begin at 6:30 the meeting will begin at 7.

A very special mystery guest will be speaking in detail about the upcoming gubernatorial election. Another guest will be announcing their candidacy for House District 89. Other featured speakers will include former District 2 U.S. Congressman, the Honorable Bruce Poliquin, Maine GOP Chairwoman and North-East Regional Republican National Committee Co-Chair Demi Kouzounis, and anti-shutdown activist and former owner of Sunday River Brewing Company Rick Savage.

Topics of interest will be on our agenda including the expanding state spending, deteriorating business climate, the permanent closure of many businesses, the inability to hire workers in a time when many are not working, the state’s increasing regulations and the expected tax…
