Joaquin and Jake Wailes Win Lake Anita High School Bass Tournament

(Anita, IA) – During this weekend, the Southwest Iowa Fishing Team jumped off to the spring tournament season in the AgriVision Elite Boat series.

Atlantic Trojan anglers Joaquin and Jake Wailes of Wiota were able to take the win in the Powerade High School Series at the bass fishing tournament on Lake Anita. They were able to pull in five fish, weighing around 10.32 pounds to take first. The other top places were CAM Cougars Owen and Brentyn Hoover who earned runner-up at 8.68 in second and third place went to Atlantic Trojan’s Colton and Colin Rudy at 8.32. The last two spots went to West Central Valley’s Jordon Robison and Nathan Bentler at 8.20 and the Atlantic Trojan Gaving Dougherty and Harlan Cyclone Cody Swank finished at 5.55.
