Game Bird Stamp Contest Calls for Artists

If you love to capture the Bay’s wildlife through photography or art, this contest is for you. One skilled local artist’s work will be chosen for Maryland’s next Migratory Game Bird Stamp.

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is inviting artists to submit up to three original works from now until Nov. 3, 2022. The contest combines artistic skill with knowledge of Maryland wildlife.

Migratory Game Bird Stamps are required for hunters aged 16 and over targeting all migratory game birds (including waterfowl), including those who are not required to buy a hunting license and those with a senior hunting license. Hunters must possess the printed receipt showing proof of purchase of the Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp while hunting migratory game birds.
