Eight communities hosting kids events Saturday for Wyoming's Free Fishing Day

CASPER, Wyo. — Wyoming Free Fishing Day will happen on Saturday, June 4, giving anglers the chance to fish without a license.

People can fish for free anywhere in the state on Saturday, with the exceptions of the Wind River Reservation and Yellowstone National Park, according to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

“All fishing regulations, creel and size limits, gear restrictions and stream closures remain in effect,” Game and Fish said in a news release Tuesday. “Anglers can review the 2022 Fishing Regulations online before heading out and plan their trips with the interactive fishing guide.”

Eight kids fishing events are set to occur on Saturday, with four communities hosting free kids fishing events later in June, according to Game and Fish. Here is a schedule of the kids fishing events provided by Game and Fish:
