An Alabama businessman has been nominated for one of the automobile industry’s most coveted awards.
Dale Benton, president of Benton Nissan of Hoover, will be traveling to Las Vegas and competing against 49 other nominees from throughout the U.S. for the 2024 Time Dealer of the Year award at the 107th annual National Automobile Dealers Association Show in February. The award is given to the country’s most successful auto dealers who have also shown a commitment to community service.
Benton, the only nominee from Alabama, discussed the significance of the industry for him personally.
“The automotive industry has been the vehicle for me to achieve the American Dream,” he said. “The most rewarding part of my career has been building a business that makes a difference in our communities. It is also a privilege to provide a place where employees are proud to work.”
