MARYLAND — The Maryland Department of Health on Monday released a list of the most and least immunized nursing home staffs in the state.
The top performers reported that 100 percent of their employees got at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine. These four facilities are in Montgomery County, Prince George’s County and Baltimore City.
The bottom four centers advertised worker inoculation rates of 46 percent or less. These locations are in Allegany County and Baltimore City.
“We have made tremendous progress vaccinating Marylanders who reside and work at nursing homes and congregate care facilities, but our work is not done,” stated Dennis R. Schrader, secretary of the Maryland Department of Health. “It is imperative that facilities encourage staff who are still unvaccinated to get vaccinated as soon as possible to ensure that they and our elderly loved ones they care for stay safe.”
