STANTON – This weekend was the second stop of the 2023-2024 season for the SWIFT AgriVision Elite boat series.
It was a brisk cool start as the student anglers launched their boats, but by the end they were greeted with sunny weather for early October.
Atlantic Trojan anglers Joaquin and Jake Wailes of Wiota reeled in the winning bag in Powerade High School Series at the McDermott and Son Roofing/Dump Truck Jigs TBF bass fishing tournament on Viking Lake Sunday, Oct. 8, near Stanton. The brothers found the fish early and hauled in an impressive bag of five fish weighing 13.84 pounds.
Again, the rest of the top places were highly competitive Emmett King and AJ Draper finished in the runner up spot with a total of 11.67, third place went to Gavin Lindstrom/Black Schwartz with 10.53, Atlantic Trojan’s Colton Rudy and Colin Rudy of Atlantic were fourth…
