From tragedy, there is now a triumph of sorts.

The West Kentucky FCA Outdoors Virtual Bass Fishing Tournament is scheduled for Friday through Sunday, with funds raised through the event and direct donations going to the KJae Milliken Outdoor Scholarship.

Anglers can register online through the ianglertournament.com website until Thursday and then fish anywhere during the three-day event.

The cost is $15 per person and $60 per team of six.

Those participating will use the ianglertournament app and an approved bump board measuring device through Golden Rule or Hog Trough, taking photos of their catches to be measured. The five longest bass of those catches will then be recorded and logged.

Awards will be presented in adult, under-15 youth and team (group of six).

Brad Lawson is in charge of the tournament.

Lawson is a teacher and coach at McCracken County High School in Paducah and also serves as a representative of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and West Kentucky FCA Outdoors.
