PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — Part of the ripple effect of Taylor McNeel’s appointment to the federal bench was the creation of an opening on the Pascagoula-Gautier school board.
McNeel, confirmed earlier this month as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Southern District of Mississippi, resigned his post on the PGSD board. The term for that seat does not expire until March 2, 2024.
Those interested in fulfilling the remainder of McNeel’s term can send a resume to the Pascagoula City Clerk’s Office at 603 Watts Ave., or via email to kkennedy@cityofpascagoula.com.
Applicants for this seat must be residents of Pascagoula. The deadline to apply is Jan. 28 at 5 p.m.
