The Johnston Peach Blossom Festival announced the winners of the 10th Annual Bass Fishing Tournament, held as part of the Festival on May 6. There were 22 teams participating.
First place team in the tournament was Mike Bartley and Jason Evans with a total of 23.78 pounds. Second place was Brock Pearson and George Agner with a total of 22.86 pounds; third place was Jim Bilbrey and Gavin Bilbrey with a total of 21.12 pounds. Adult Big Fish Winner was Mike Bartley and Jason Evans with 7.84 pounds; second in the category was Anson Brinson and Cory Molina with 7.38 pounds.
In the Youth under 14 category, first place was Bentley Mattson and Tyler Rose with a total of 12.44 pounds.
1st Youth Big Fish winner was Bentley Mattson and Tyler Rose with 6.46 pounds, and second place was Landon Knight with 5.26 pounds.
