ATHENS, Texas – The angling community is abuzz as both Inks Lake and O.H. Ivie delivered notable catches, marking significant additions to the prestigious ShareLunker Legacy.
Darrly Hanson II of Round Rock made waves on Sunday, March 10, when he reeled in ShareLunker 662, a whopping 13.40-pound largemouth bass at Inks Lake. Not only was this catch Inks Lake’s first Legacy Class bass, but it also solidified the lake’s spot in the Toyota ShareLunker record books as the 78th public water body to produce such a remarkable fish.
The excitement continued the following day, March 11, as Larry Walker of Irving landed ShareLunker 663, weighing in at an impressive 13.83 pounds at O.H. Ivie. This marked the sixth Legacy Lunker of the season for O.H. Ivie, adding to its reputation as a prime destination for trophy bass fishing.
