After a year’s hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, the Battle of the Bass fishing tournament was back on the river Saturday, Aug. 14 giving anglers a chance to finally once again wet their lines in competition.

This year marked the third edition of the tournament, the first two having been held in 2018 and 2019. It was again hosted jointly by the Greater Petawawa and the Pembroke Civitan clubs as a fundraiser for the transportation fund at Carefor Health and Community Services.
