Bass fishing tournament announces Upstate location, predicts $1 million economic impact for area

Another major bass fishing tournament will be held on Lake Hartwell, organizers announced Monday.Fishing League Worldwide announced that the 37th annual T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League tournament will be held on Lake Hartwell in 2020. The tournament, planned April 30-May 2, will showcase the nation’s best weekend anglers. The Bassmaster Elite tournament is also held on Lake Hartwell.Because BFL competitors are weekend anglers and not pros, the All-American tournament and its cash prize of $120,000 presents a unique opportunity for qualifiers.
