TEXARKANA, Texas — With spring weather comes outdoor activity, and often, a little friendly competition.
The Chamber of Commerce-Texarkana USA and the National Professional Fishing League is taking those concepts to the next level and giving local anglers a chance to learn from the pros. The activities start today.
“This is our first fishing tournament of this type,” said Natalie Haywood, events and communications director for the chamber. “For the NPLF, this is their second tournament this year.”
The NPLF Bass Fishing tournament calendar of events breaks down like this: Today through Wednesday will be practice days, and Wednesday will also be a media day.
